Our goal is to recruit and retain the best and brightest teachers, administrators and support personnel to serve the children of Asheboro. We seek teachers who are knowledgeable in their subject matter, understand how children learn and have the ability to make content accessible to students. Our focus is to support teachers through professional development and effective induction. The Beginning Teacher Support program includes mentoring and training for novice teachers and the Tuition Assistance Program supports veteran teachers who want to continue their personal and professional growth. We encourage and support candidates for National Board Certification and strive to empower others through our lead mentor program. Strong, effective, professional relationships are evident as emerging teachers and veteran teachers work collaboratively in small school settings.
