Celebrating Black History: Krystal Parson
Throughout the month, we are highlighting influential and impactful Black leaders. Several members of the ACS staff contributed names and facts of people they believed should be recognized. Krystal Parson, EC Teacher at Asheboro High School, chose to acknowledge local educator, Ms. Eldora Allen. Ms. Allen was Ms. Parson's second grade teacher at Randleman Elementary.  She was her first and only African-American teacher throughout her 13 years of schooling in Randolph County.  She was the inspiration behind her becoming an educator and working within the area she lives so that students can see representation within the classroom and have a familiar face to connect to within the building.
